VCU in 1977. This video kept me up a good hour longer than I needed last night, watching and rewatching. Former VCU art professor, the late Glenn Hamm captured this amazing footage back in 1977 all over Grace Street, Monroe Park and what looks like parts of Franklin Street. It’s so cool being able to see what the area looked like over 40 years ago, and to see what’s still standing. Music and editing was done by Glenn Hamm’s son, Carl “DJ Carlito” Hamm.
